Clipper Blade Sharpening
All blades are precision
lapped to manufacturers specification. We normally achieve about three
days turn around but this will extend during October to December to
around 7 to 10 days. For blade sharpening please add £1.50 to
cover post & packing UK only for any number of blades which
includes cover up to £ 34. Please add a further £5.00 to obtain
cover up to £500. Blades sent to Clippers for sharpening should
be carefully protectively wrapped. Please send your blades along with
a cheque for the cost of sharpening and postage to Clippers Ltd.

Clipping Machine Servicing
We recommend that mains operated clipping machines and equipment are visually inspected for damage on a regular basis and before use and are subject to combined inspection and electrical test at least annually or more frequently according to the severity of use.
The following table gives service and carriage costs for clipping machines, dog machines and trimmers.

We service and repair
all makes of clipping machines. Where parts are found to be defective
these are replaced at retail cost with no additional labour charge. Where
the cost of repair is over typically £65.00 (or otherwise as agreed)
we will check with the owner whether to proceed. Quotations for repair
are given free of charge. All electrical repairs include an approved electrical
safety test.
Please send clipping
machines for service and/or repair direct to Clippers along with any instructions.
Customers will be contacted for payement when the work is complete and
before delivery. We advise customers to arrange transit insurance to protect
all goods despatched to Clippers Ltd for service or repair.
Collection
Service. Clippers
can also arrange for next day collection of a single parcel up to 5kg
from your premises at a charge of £11.80 inclusive. Delivery is
guaranteed to us within 48 hours of collection and your consignment is
insured for up to £70.00. Additiional insurance is available at
a cost of 1% of insured value.These charges will be shown on your invoice.
