Clipper Blade Sharpening

All blades are precision lapped to manufacturers specification and are returned within 24 hours. For blade sharpening please add £1.00 to cover post & packing for any number of blades. Blades sent to Clippers for sharpening should be carefully protectively wrapped. Please send your blades along with a cheque for the cost of sharpening and postage to Clippers Ltd.

Clipping Machine Servicing

We recommend that mains operated clipping machines and equipment are visually inspected for damage on a regular basis and before use and are subject to combined inspection and electrical test at least annually or more frequently according to the severity of use.

The following table gives service and carriage costs for large/medium clipping machines and trimmers.

We service and repair all makes of clipping machines. Where parts are found to be defective these are replaced at retail cost with no additional labour charge. Where the cost of repair is over typically £60.00 (or otherwise as agreed) we will check with the owner whether to proceed. Quotations for repair are given free of charge. All electrical repairs include an approved electrical safety test.

Please send clipping machines for service and/or repair direct to Clippers along with any instructions-charges will be invoiced before return or otherwise as agreed. We advise customers to arrange transit insurance to protect all goods despatched to Clippers Ltd for service or repair.

Collection Service. Clippers can also arrange for next day collection of a single parcel up to 10kg from your premises at a charge of £8.00 inclusive. Delivery is guaranteed to us within 24 hours of collection and your consignment is insured for up to £350.00. These charges will be shown on your invoice.
